To extend the lifespan of your robotic vacuum cleaner and maintain peak suction and battery longevity, regular routine care is essential. Here are professional maintenance recommendations from our engineering team:
Hair and threads wrap tightly around the main roller and side brushes, creating high friction on the gearbox motors. Remove the roller brush and clear all tangled fibers every 7-10 days.
Empty the dustbin after each full cleaning cycle. Tap dust out of the HEPA filter gently. If washable, ensure the filter is 100% dry before re-inserting to prevent moisture damage to the vacuum turbine.
Dust accumulation on transparent sensor windows causes robots to report false drop errors or spin in circles. Wipe infrared and optical sensors with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
Oxidation or dust on the charging plates under the robot or on the dock will prevent the unit from holding charge. Gently wipe the metallic plates regularly.
We recommend having your robot completely disassembled, degreased, ultrasonically cleaned, and re-lubricated once every 12 months by our technicians to keep motor bearings in mint condition.
